The First Four Commandments – Attitude Toward God:

• No other gods before me.
• No graven images.
• Do not take the Lord’s name in vain.
• Remember and keep the Sabbath holy.

The Remaining Six – Attitude Toward Fellowman:

• Honor parents.
• Do not kill.
• Do not commit adultery.
• Do not steal.
• Do not bear false witness.
• Do not covet.

Jesus’ Condensed Version:

• Love God with all your heart, soul, and mind.
• Love your neighbor as yourself.

Additional Facts:

• Written on two tables of stone. (Exodus 31:18)
• “Written with the finger of God.” (Exodus 31:18)
• Tables of stone had writing on both sides. (Exodus 32:15)
• Second set given after Moses broke the first. (Exodus 32:19; 34:18)
• Kept inside the Ark of the Covenant for centuries.
