Miraculous Measure:

- Purpose:
- To confirm the Word (Hebrews 2:2-3).
- For the perfecting of the saints and the work of ministry (Ephesians 4:8-12).
- For the edification of the body of Christ through the laying on of the apostles’ hands (Acts 8:14-18; 19:1-6).
Ordinary Measure:
- Recipients: New Testament Christians today, who receive the Holy Spirit through faith and baptism, as described in Acts 2:38 and Acts 5:32.
