Corrective Discipline Does Mean:
- Efforts have been put forth to restore the erring one prior to the corrective discipline being taken.
- To turn away from the offender (Romans 16:17).
- To mark the offender (Romans 16:17).
- To refuse association or company.
- To give no encouragement in any way to the evil the offender is guilty of (2 John 9-11).
“Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, you which are spiritual restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.” (Galatians 6:1)
