• Given to Christ
• Received during His baptism (Matthew 3:16-17)
• Purpose: Manifestation as the Son of God (John 1:31-34)
• Recipients: Apostles in Acts 2, Cornelius & household in Acts 10
• Functions: Revelation and confirmation of truth, indication of God’s acceptance

3. MIRACULOUS MEASURE

• Recipients: Those on whom the Apostles laid their hands
• Functions: Confirmation of the Word (Hebrews 2:2-3), aid to the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:8-12)

4. ORDINARY MEASURE

• Recipients: All Christians (Acts 2:38)
