• Not About Seeking Vengeance: Romans 12:19 highlights that corrective discipline should not be driven by a desire for retaliation but rather by a desire for restoration.
• Not About Creating Enemies: 2 Thessalonians 3:15 clarifies that the aim of corrective discipline is not to alienate or ostracize the offender but to encourage repentance and reconciliation.
• Not About Abandoning Restoration Efforts: Corrective discipline does not signify giving up on efforts to guide the erring individual back to a path of righteousness.
