James: Martyred in Jerusalem in 44 AD. He was beheaded with a sword.

John: Died in Ephesus in 98 AD of natural causes.

Philip: Died in Hierapolis, Syria. The exact date is unknown. He was lanced by idolatrous priests and then burned up in an oven.

Bartholomew: Died either in India or Armenia, the date is uncertain. He was axed to death with a halberd.

Thomas: Died in Edessa, Greece, the exact date is unknown. He was thrown down from the Temple tower, survived, and then clubbed to death at the age of 94.

Matthew: Died in Nadabah, Ethiopia, around 60 AD. He was crucified.

James: Died in Jerusalem in 66 AD. He was severely scourged, tied to a rope, thrown from the Temple, and then clubbed to death.
