    • In a garden near Golgotha.
    • Hewn out of rock.
    • The opening was low, John 20:5
  • It was a new tomb, John 19:41
    • No one had been buried in it before.
    • It was a borrowed tomb.
    • Joseph of Arimathaea provided his own tomb for the Lord’s burial.
    • It is still an empty tomb.
    • Not to let Jesus out, but to let the world see the evidence that Jesus is alive and risen.
