Two Examples of Preparation for Worship
At Mount Sinai – Exodus 19:9-14
- They realized that God was to meet with them (vs. 11)
- They sanctified themselves for that meeting (vs. 10)
- They prepared their garments beforehand (vs. 10)
- They realized they were on sacred ground (vs. 12)
At Jerusalem – Luke 22:7-13
- Jesus sent His disciples to make ready the Passover
- They made arrangements for the meeting place
- They prepared the items that would be needed
