Some Churches Have No Problems Concerning:
- Work
- Ephesians 4:12: Equipping believers for works of service.
- 1 Timothy 3:15: Church as the pillar and foundation of truth.
- Titus 2:14: Believers zealous for good works.
- Discipline
- 1 Corinthians 5:1-2: Church must practice discipline for immorality.
- 2 Thessalonians 3:6: Avoid those living in disobedience.
- Preaching
- Philippians 4:10, 14-16: Support for preaching the Gospel.
- 2 Corinthians 11:8: Paul supported the preaching of truth.
- Teachers
- 2 Timothy 2:2: Teachers must be trustworthy and able to teach others.
- Hebrews 5:12: Believers should be teachers but still need instruction.
- Contribution
- 1 Corinthians 16:1-2: Contribution to the work of the ministry.
- 2 Corinthians 9:7: God loves a cheerful giver.
- Attendance
- Hebrews 10:24-25: Urged not to neglect meeting together.
- Acts 6:7: Growth and thriving through faithful attendance.
- Genesis 4:9: Importance of attendance and accountability.
Problems in Dead Churches:
- Spiritual Decline
- 1 Corinthians 11:9: Consequences of spiritual neglect.
- Acts 20:29-30: False teachings threaten church health.
Dead Churches Are a Problem Themselves
- Revelation 2:5: Churches must repent and return to their first love or face removal. Spiritual death leads to the loss of influence and purpose.
