• Sin is a failure to do good:

• Sin can mislead us, distorting our perception of right and wrong, leading us to act in ways contrary to God’s will.
• Sin is a transgression of God’s law:
• 1 John 3:4 – “Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.”
• Sin has a binding, enslaving power:
• Sin has the ability to control and enslave individuals, preventing them from living in freedom.
• Sin has a remedy:
• Matthew 26:28 – “For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.”
• Jesus’ sacrifice provides the remedy for sin, offering forgiveness and salvation.
