Matthew 27:22
“What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?“

Here is what some have done with Jesus:

• SOME HAVE ACCEPTED MONEY AGAINST HIM
• Matthew 28:11-15: The chief priests bribed the guards to spread lies about Jesus’ resurrection.
• PETER DENIED HIM
• Matthew 26:69-75: Peter, in fear, denied knowing Jesus three times.
• PILATE TRIED TO BE NEUTRAL
• Matthew 27:24: Pilate washed his hands of the matter, trying to remain neutral in the face of Jesus’ trial.
• THE DISCIPLES FORSOOK HIM
• Matthew 26:56: At His arrest, all the disciples abandoned Jesus in fear.
• A ROMAN SOLDIER PIERCED HIM
• John 19:34: A soldier pierced Jesus’ side with a spear, fulfilling prophecy and ensuring He was dead.
• SAUL PERSECUTED HIM
• Acts 9:1-6: Saul (later Paul) persecuted Jesus’ followers, even though he was confronted by the risen Christ.
