The genealogy of Jesus is listed in two different accounts in the New Testament, found in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke. These genealogies trace Jesus’ lineage through different ancestors, with Matthew beginning from Abraham and moving forward to Jesus, and Luke starting from Jesus and tracing back to Adam.
