The Gospel Must Be Believed

At This Point in Conversion, the Terms “Believe” and “Faith” Are Used Interchangeably:

  • “Belief” and “Faith” are translations of the same Greek word.

Faith is a Necessity:

  • Man must believe or else die in his sins.
    John 8:24
  • Man must believe or be damned.
    Mark 16:16
  • Without faith, man cannot please God.
    Hebrews 11:6
  • Without faith, man cannot be saved.
    John 16:31
  • Faith is a part of salvation.
    Ephesians 2:8
  • Faith without works is dead.
    James 2:17, 26
  • True faith yields to God’s will.
    Romans 10:16
