Who Should Not Be Re-Baptized?

• Those who repented of their sins, confessed their faith in Christ, and were immersed in water for the remission of their sins, were sincere, and knew what they were doing.
• Those who were baptized scripturally and later sinned.
  (Repentance and confession are necessary, but re-baptism is not required.)
• Those who were baptized scripturally and then entered some denomination.
  (They need to repent and return to the truth, but not necessarily be re-baptized.)

Baptism’s Role

• Baptism stands at the beginning of the new life, symbolizing the burial of the old life.
• Baptism is a direct command from Christ and cannot be ignored without disregarding His command.
