Are you ready to follow?

Bible images

If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.

  • Luke 9:23 NRSV

This powerful verse from the Gospel of Luke challenges us to consider what it truly means to follow Christ. Jesus doesn’t just call us to admire His work on the cross; He calls us to take up our own cross and follow Him in obedience, sacrifice, and love.

Have You Come to Christ?

To come to Christ is to acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior. It means surrendering our own desires and submitting to His will. Have you made that decision to follow Him fully, not just in moments of comfort but in every aspect of your life?

Are You In Christ Now?

Being in Christ is more than a one-time decision; it is a continual state of being. It’s a relationship built on daily commitment. Are you living in the fullness of that relationship today, allowing Christ to transform you daily?

Many Desire the Christ of the Cross But Not the Cross of the Christ!

It is easy to desire the benefits of Christ’s sacrifice—the forgiveness of sins, the promise of eternal life, and the peace He offers. But true discipleship calls us to embrace the cost of following Him. The cross is not just where Jesus died; it is also where we die to ourselves. Many want the reward but are reluctant to carry the cost. Are you willing to take up your cross and follow Him?

When You Take Up the Cross, You Lift Up the Christ!

Taking up your cross means living out the example Christ set before us—sacrificial, obedient, and full of love for others. In doing so, you not only follow Jesus but also reflect His glory to the world. Your life becomes a testimony of His grace and power.

There Is Room at the Cross for You!

No matter where you are in life, no matter your past or present struggles, the cross is always open. Jesus invites you to come, to lay down your burdens, and to follow Him. There is grace for all who come to Him, and no one is turned away. Will you come to the cross and take up your cross daily, following Christ with all your heart?

The call to take up your cross is a call to live out your faith with courage, to deny yourself and embrace the life Christ has called you to. In doing so, you will find true fulfillment, joy, and purpose. Are you ready to follow Jesus wholeheartedly?
