THE BREAD OF LIFE

• John 6:35 – “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”
  • Christ provides spiritual sustenance to those who follow Him, satisfying our deepest needs.

THE FOUNDATION OF THE CHURCH

• Matthew 16:18 – “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
  • Jesus Christ is the cornerstone and foundation upon which the Church is built.

THE ONLY MEDIATOR

• 1 Timothy 2:5 – “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”
  • Jesus is the exclusive mediator between God and humanity, offering reconciliation through His sacrifice.

THE PERFECT EXAMPLE

• 1 Peter 2:21 – “For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.”
  • Christ’s life serves as the ultimate model for how we should live and walk in righteousness.

THE RETURNING KING

• John 14:3 – “And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”
  • Christ promises to return as the King to take His followers to their eternal home with Him.

HAVE YOU OBEYED THE COMMANDS OF CHRIST?

This reflection challenges us to consider our response to the commands and call of Christ. Are we living in accordance with His teachings and following His example, knowing He is the Bread of Life, the Foundation of the Church, the Mediator, and the Returning King?
