Daniel 3:16-18 – The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego shows that our God is able to deliver us from any trial, even when facing a fiery furnace. They declared their faith, knowing that God’s power surpasses all earthly fears.

Is He Able to:

  1. Save to the Uttermost?
    • Hebrews 7:24-25: “But He, because He continues forever, has an unchangeable priesthood. Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”
    • 1 John 2:1: “My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.”
    • God is able to completely save and offer eternal salvation to all who come to Him.
  2. Do Above All We Ask or Think?
    • Ephesians 3:20-21: “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”
    • God’s abilities exceed our imagination; He is capable of accomplishing far beyond what we can fathom.
  3. Make All Grace Abound?
    • 2 Corinthians 9:8: “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”
    • 1 Corinthians 15:58: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
    • Matthew 6:33: “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
    • God is more than able to supply His grace in abundance to meet all needs, both spiritual and physical.
  4. Subdue All Things?
    • Philippians 3:21: “Who will transform our lowly body that it may be conformed to His glorious body, according to the working by which He is able even to subdue all things to Himself.”
    • God has the power to bring everything under His control, even the physical universe, and our own lives.
  5. Aid the Tempted?
    • Hebrews 2:18: “For in that He Himself has suffered, being tempted, He is able to aid those who are tempted.”
    • Hebrews 4:14-16: “Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
    • Christ understands our temptations and is fully capable of helping us overcome them.
  6. Perform What He Promises?
    • Romans 4:21: “And being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform.”
    • 2 Peter 3:9: “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.”
    • God’s promises are certain and He has the power to bring them to fulfillment.
  7. Keep Us From Falling?
    • Jude 24: “Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.”
    • 1 Peter 1:4-5: “To an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.”
    • God is more than capable of preserving us and ensuring our ultimate victory through His power.

HE IS ABLE!
Let us remember, no matter the challenge or situation, that God is always more than capable of handling anything that comes our way. He is able to save, to provide, to protect, and to fulfill every promise. He is truly an all-powerful and faithful God.
