Salvation is in Christ

  • 2 Timothy 2:10: “Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.”

God was in Christ

  • 2 Corinthians 5:19: “That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.”

Forgiveness of Sins is in Christ

  • Colossians 1:13: “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.”

Reconciliation is in Christ

  • 2 Corinthians 5:19: Reconciliation with God is made possible because of Christ’s work in the world.

In Christ

  • Man is a new creature (creation) in Christ
    • 2 Corinthians 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”

The Righteousness of God is in Christ

  • 2 Corinthians 5:21: “For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”

All Spiritual Blessings are in Christ

  • Ephesians 1:3: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.”

Redemption through His Blood is in Christ

  • Ephesians 1:7: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.”

ARE YOU IN CHRIST?

  • Romans 6:3: “Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?”
  • Being “in Christ” is a state of salvation, righteousness, and access to all the spiritual blessings that God provides. It is through Christ that we are made new and reconciled to God.

IS CHRIST IN YOU?

  • Colossians 1:27: “To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
  • Christ must not only be a part of our faith but also live in us, guiding our thoughts, actions, and beliefs.

Being “in Christ” is essential to Christian life, and it is through this union with Him that believers receive forgiveness, righteousness, spiritual blessings, and eternal salvation.
