Faith & Reason Nexus

1. The Word Gives Me Faith
   • Romans 10:17 – “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
2. The Word Teaches, Reproves, & Corrects
   • 2 Timothy 3:16 – “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.”
3. The Word Works Effectually in Me
   • 1 Thessalonians 2:13 – “For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.”
4. The Word Cleanses Me
   • Ephesians 5:26 – “That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.”
5. The Word Gives Me Joy
   • Jeremiah 15:16 – “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O Lord God of hosts.”
