4. Preach It

5. Respect It

• Acts 20:28 – Elders are charged to care for the church, purchased with Christ’s blood.

6. Use Your Talents

• Matthew 25:14-20 – Use your God-given abilities to serve and grow the church.

7. Be Faithful

• James 1:12 – Blessed is the one who endures; faithfulness leads to the crown of life.

8. Promote Its Unity

• Ephesians 4:1-3 – Walk in humility, love, and patience to maintain unity in the Spirit.

9. Support It Financially

• 1 Corinthians 16:2 – Give as you prosper, ensuring the church’s needs are met.

10. Pray for It

• Philippians 1:1-7 – Pray with joy for the church’s partnership in the gospel.

11. Work With It

• 1 Corinthians 15:58 – Be steadfast, always abounding in the work of the Lord.

12. Abide by Its Decisions

• Acts 15 – Respect and adhere to decisions made by the church’s leadership.

13. Defend It

• Jude 3 – Earnestly contend for the faith delivered to the saints.

The Church Is Subject Unto Christ

• Ephesians 5:24 – As the church submits to Christ, so must we fulfill our obligations to it with love, commitment, and faithfulness. Are you honoring your responsibilities to Christ’s church?
