Concerning Praise:

Praise from God Should Be Our Supreme Delight

  • Galatians 6:9 – Do not grow weary in doing good for God’s glory.
  • 1 Corinthians 4:5 – Praise will come from God at the appointed time.

Love for Praises of Men Controls Many

  • John 12:42-43 – Some rulers valued human praise over God’s.

  • Jude 16 – Flattering words often reveal selfish motives.

Praise is a Test of Character

Do We Seek the Praise of God or the Praise of Men?

Reflection: True praise should be directed to God and align with His character and will. Are we living for His approval or chasing fleeting recognition from men?
