Bible images

TO PUT OTHERS IN REMEMBRANCE OF GOD’S WORD

“Therefore I will always remind you about these things, even though you already know them and are standing firm in the truth you have been taught.”
— 2 Peter 1:12

OF MY RELATIONSHIP TO THE LORD AND HIS CHURCH

  • Attend faithfully.
  • Give generously.
  • Work diligently.
  • Pray continually.

OF THE PHYSICAL NEEDS OF MY FAMILY

“But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.”
— 1 Timothy 5:8

OF THE SPIRITUAL NEEDS OF MY FAMILY

“Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”
— Ephesians 6:4

OF THE NEEDY

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
— James 1:27

OF THE URGENCY TO CARRY OUT GOD’S WILL AND WORK

“We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work.”
— John 9:4

OF THE GREAT SALVATION

“How shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.”
— Hebrews 2:3

Let us not be negligent in fulfilling our responsibilities to God, our family, the Church, and the needy, as we press forward in faith and obedience.
