God calls His children to live according to His will, standing out as examples of His love, holiness, and truth. To truly reflect His image, we must embrace the unique roles He has called us to, and strive to be the individuals He has designed us to be.
1. BECAUSE WE ARE CHRISTIANS
As Christians, we are called to live in a way that reflects Christ’s life and teachings. Our lives should be a testimony to His grace and truth.
2. BECAUSE WE ARE SAINTS
Ephesians 5:3 calls us to live lives that are pure and holy. As saints, we are set apart for God’s special purpose, and our conduct should reflect this divine calling.
3. BECAUSE WE ARE SALT
Matthew 5:13 reminds us that we are the salt of the earth. Salt has the power to preserve, flavor, and bring out the best in things, just as Christians should influence the world by living according to God’s Word.
4. BECAUSE WE ARE LIGHT
Matthew 5:14 and 1 Peter 1:4 teach us that we are the light of the world. As light, we should shine in darkness, guiding others to the truth of God’s love and salvation.
5. BECAUSE WE ARE MEMBERS
We are all members of the body of Christ (1 Peter 1:4). As members, we are called to work together to accomplish God’s purposes on earth, each playing a unique and important role in His kingdom.
6. BECAUSE WE ARE SANCTIFIED
Through sanctification (1 Peter 1:4), we are set apart by God to live holy lives, transformed by His Spirit, and dedicated to His service.
7. BECAUSE WE ARE EPISTLES
2 Corinthians 3:3 tells us that we are living epistles, or letters, known and read by all men. Our actions and lives should be a clear representation of God’s Word and His love for others.
