By thinking on things that are pure – Philippians 4:8-9

Focus on positive, pure, and virtuous thoughts to counter negative thinking. - Overcome Fear of Death
By accepting the certainty of the resurrection – 1 Corinthians 15:54
“When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: ‘Death has been swallowed up in victory.’”
The hope of resurrection brings victory over the fear of death. - Overcome Sin
By accepting the sacrifice for sin – 1 John 2:2; Hebrews 5:9

Christ’s sacrifice enables us to overcome sin through His grace. - Overcome Prejudices

“Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”
True greatness comes through humility and a servant’s heart, following the example of Christ. - Overcome Loss
By investing in heaven – Matthew 6:19-21
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven.”
Shift focus from temporary losses to eternal gains in heaven. - Overcome Sorrow
By counting all things as joy – James 1:2-4
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
Finding joy even in hardship leads to spiritual growth and endurance.
In each of these areas, overcoming is possible through faith, self-discipline, and reliance on God’s strength and guidance. Each challenge invites growth, refinement, and a deeper relationship with Christ.
