- Channel your energy through physical work and spiritual ministry.
Engage in activities that build your character and serve others, redirecting focus from desires to meaningful pursuits. - Don’t seek to be married for the sake of being married.
Marriage should be a calling and not a mere solution to loneliness or societal pressure. Be content in your season of singleness. - Let go of the sex-mad, adulterous world.
Avoid the influence of media, peers, and environments that normalize or glorify sexual immorality. - Program your mind with the Word of God.
Regularly meditate on scripture to renew your mind, strengthen your resolve, and remain pure in thoughts and actions. - Count on divine help for you to live without sexual fulfillment.
Trust God’s grace to empower you to live according to His will, knowing He provides the strength to endure. - Avoid potentially tempting situations.
Be wise in the places you go, the people you spend time with, and the media you consume to avoid situations that could lead to temptation. - Praise and thank God in the midst of your singleness.
Cultivate gratitude and joy, trusting that God has a purpose for your singleness and that He is with you through every season. - Have a close Christian friend of the same sex you can talk to.
Build a supportive network of accountability and encouragement with friends who share your values. - Remember that 1 Corinthians 10:13 is still in the Bible.
“No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.” Trust God’s promise of help in times of temptation.
