Baptism – Who Should Be Rebaptized? – Part 1

Matthew 28:19-20

Six Observations About People Concerned Over the Validity of Their Baptism:

  • At some time or place in their past, they have submitted to some form of “baptism.”
  • They are entertaining serious thoughts about either the form of their baptism or their motives at the time they were baptized.
  • They realize that baptism is too important to their salvation to be handled carelessly.
  • They are tender enough in heart to know that they do not want to continue through their lives with an invalid baptism.
  • They want the baptism that is acceptable to God and will grant them the remission of their sins.
  • If their first baptism, for whatever reasons and circumstances, was invalid, they will not delay in wanting to be scripturally baptized into Christ.
