God’s Wonderful Grace

  • It Is a Free Gift
  • Ephesians 2:5-8
    • Grace is given freely by God, not earned or deserved, but offered to all who believe.
  • It Is God’s Unmerited Favor
  • Grace is God’s favor that we cannot merit through our actions. It is given out of His love, not because of anything we’ve done.
  • It Should Be Preached and Understood
  • Grace is central to the Gospel and should be shared clearly so others can fully understand the depth of God’s love and mercy.
  • It Has Appeared to All
  • Titus 2:11
    • Grace has been revealed to all humanity through the coming of Jesus Christ, making salvation available to everyone.
  • It Is the Heart of the “Good News”
  • The message of grace is at the core of the Gospel, bringing the hope of salvation to all who hear it.
  • It Will See Us Through
  • James 4:6
    • God’s grace is sufficient for every trial and difficulty in life, helping us to endure and overcome.
  • It Teaches
  • Titus 2:12
    • Grace teaches us to live righteously, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, as we await the return of Jesus.
  • It Is Coupled with Man’s Faith
  • Ephesians 2:5-8
    • Grace and faith work together for salvation—grace provides the gift, and faith is how we receive it.
  • It Should Never Be Misunderstood Nor Misapplied
  • Grace is not a license to sin but the power to live righteously. It should always be understood as God’s love that calls us to obedience, not indulgence in sin.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.”
Ephesians 2:8
