Such Unconcern May Be Due to a Lack of:

• Realization of Value:
• The true worth of the soul may be unrecognized (Mark 8:36-37; John 3:16; Romans 5:8).
• Love for Souls:
• A lack of compassion for others’ spiritual well-being (Jonah 4:1; 3 John 2; Psalm 11:30).
• Opportunity:
• Failing to take advantage of the chances to act (Galatians 6:10; Matthew 9:9; Philippians 4:10).
• Confidence in Ability:
• Doubting one’s ability to help others (Matthew 25:15; Mark 14:8; Exodus 4:10-12).
• Courage to Act:
• Fear or hesitation to take action (Revelation 21:8; 2 Timothy 4:2; Hebrews 3:13).
• Trust in the Gospel’s Power:
• Not relying on the transformative power of the Gospel (Romans 1:16-17; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Psalm 19:7; 1 Timothy 1:15).
