What It Means to Be Lost

  • The Lost Are Lost Without Hope:
  • They are without the hope found in Christ (Ephesians 2:12).
  • The Lost Are Doomed to a Prayerless Life:
  • God does not hear the prayers of those outside of Christ (John 9:31; Proverbs 15:29).
  • The Lost Are Without Spiritual Blessings:
  • They lack the spiritual blessings given through Christ (Ephesians 1:3).
  • The Lost Are Without Redemption:
  • They are not redeemed from sin (Romans 3:24).
  • The Lost Will Be Cast Into Hell:
  • Those who remain lost will face eternal separation from God (Revelation 20:15).
  • The Lost Will Die Two Deaths:
  1. Physical Death (Hebrews 9:27).
  2. Spiritual Death (Revelation 20:15).
