• Purposeful giving is a spiritual sacrifice that:
• Shows God’s worth – 2 Samuel 24:24; Malachi 1:6-8
• Demonstrates our trust in God – Deuteronomy 8:11-18; Luke 12:18-19; 2:2-4; Mark 10:24

If we are being purposeful givers, we may:

• Fail to adjust our giving in times of increased prosperity – 1 Corinthians 16:2; Leviticus 5:7
• Neglect regular contributions each week – 1 Corinthians 16:2
• Prioritize spiritual gifts over material purchases – Acts 2:44-45; 4:34-37; Proverbs 3:9
