The Cure for Guilt

  • ADMIT THAT YOU HAVE IT
  • Acknowledge your feelings of guilt.
  • ACCEPT GOD’S FORGIVENESS
  • Embrace the forgiveness offered by God. (Revelation 1:5)
  • WALK IN THE LIGHT
  • Live according to God’s truth and righteousness. (1 John 1:7)
  • ASK: “WHY DO I FEEL GUILTY?”
  • Reflect on the root causes of your guilt.
  • ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU ARE FREE
  • Recognize your freedom through Christ. (John 8:36)
  • CONFESS IT TO GOD
  • Bring your guilt before God and seek His forgiveness. (1 John 1:9)
  • NEVER QUESTION GOD; HE FORGIVES
  • Trust in God’s promise of forgiveness. (Psalm 103:12)
