- Faith in God’s Existence:
- “But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that HE IS, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.”
— Hebrews 11:6 - The term “IS” refers to a “State of being.” GOD DOES EXIST!
- God is Faithful:
- 1 Corinthians 1:9: God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son.
- 1 Corinthians 10:13: God is faithful; He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you can bear.
- Joshua 23:14: The Lord has fulfilled every good promise He made.
- Hebrews 10:23: Hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful.
- God is Love:
- 1 John 4:8: God is love.
- John 3:16: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son.
- Romans 5:8: But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
- God is Our Refuge, Strength, and Help:
- 1 John 4:19: We love Him because He first loved us.
- Psalm 46:1: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
- Psalm 54:4: Behold, God is mine helper; the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.
- Romans 8:31-32: If God be for us, who can be against us?
- Ephesians 3:20: God is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.
- 1 Peter 5:7: Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.
- God is Greatly to Be Feared:
- Psalm 89:7: God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints.
- Ecclesiastes 12:13: Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
- God is a Rewarder:
- Hebrews 11:6: He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
- 1 Corinthians 15:58: Your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
- Matthew 5:12: Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven.
