In choosing a home congregation, the following criteria should be carefully and prayerfully considered:
- Where the congregation is scripturally sound
- Where the congregation is scripturally organized
- Where the congregation worships scripturally
- Where one is needed the most and can do the most good
- Where one can get the most help in training, growing, and serving for future work
- Where the congregation is close enough geographically to make regular attendance possible
- Where one will be compatible with other members
