He discovers it: “What can we say? God has found out our iniquity.” (Genesis 44:16)
He sets it before Him: “I do not rebuke you for your sacrifices, for they are ever before Me.” (Psalm 50:8)
He marks it: “Though you wash with lye, your iniquity is marked before Me.” (Jeremiah 2:22)
He dealt with it through Christ: “He was wounded for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities.” (Isaiah 53:5-6, 11)
He takes it away: “Your guilt is taken away, and your sin atoned for.” (Isaiah 6:7)
